To mark the 150th anniversary of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis’ birth, we set out to present him not only as one of Lithuania’s most significant artists, but as a creator whose work transcends geography, time and boundaries. The campaign was inspired by the cosmic quality of Čiurlionis’ work and the extraordinary scale of his creative vision. His music and images of his paintings were transmitted from the International Space Station, sending his work symbolically beyond yet another frontier.
