CHALLENGE

Many people in Lithuania have scleroderma but do not seek treatment because they think it is ineffective or because they do not know they have the disease.

SITUATION

More than 120 000 people in Lithuania are affected by psoriasis. Of these, as many as one-third suffer from moderate to severe forms of the disease. Despite this, some patients still do not seek professional help from their doctors.

TASK

Raise awareness of the disease, promote the recognition of its symptoms, dispel myths and encourage people to seek specialist treatment.

GOAL

Eliminate the stigma of psoriasis in society and encourage people to take an interest in the condition so that they can recognize its symptoms and seek medical attention.

SOLUTIONS

  • A creative integrated communication campaign uses heroes who have experienced the disease to tell their unique stories and encourage people to seek specialist treatment.
